After a good 3 year run on Xtandi, my husband's PSA has risen to 38 and it's time to change treatment. (Dx 2015, mets to bone, Gleason 9 on Lupron injections, has had radiation, one Taxotere infusion, couldn't tolerate) his MO suggested today a clinical trial for Proxalutamide. Would appreciate feedback on it. Side effects? Did it work for you? How it compares to Xtandi?

FWIW, here's what I have in my files:

"No dose limiting toxicity was observed. Maximum tolerated dose was not reached. GT0918-related adverse events were relatively mild (CTCAE grade 1 or 2), including hypercholesterolemia, peripheral edma, fatigue, flush, constipation and anorexia. "

"No Dose Limiting Toxicity was observed and Max Tolerated Dose has not been reached. So, it looks like good stuff. Please report back how it goes.
Thank you Tall Allen for the information and responding to my post. I will update how he does. I am thankful there are new treatments to try and my husband is being accepted into this trial.
