Proxalutamide Trial Update

Mitch started the trial 12-3-19 and he is on the 400mg/day arm. He had his first PSA yesterday on the medicine and unfortunately it was up 5 points. Haven't yet talked to his MO the significance of this. He is tolerating the medicine OK just more fatigue than when on the Xtandi.

There is often an early increase in PSA when a therapy is new because cancer cells are dying and releasing their PSA into the blood stream.

Hi YellowLab, I’m hoping for the best for your husband. Can you please give period updates on your husbands response/toleration to the medication? Unless the study doesn’t allow that? Thanks.

Sure Daniel. He will be going monthly for lab and will have scans every 12 weeks. I will post updates. Thanks!
