Is this means cancer progression? Other wise maintaining good health and still working full time. All other blood results are showing normal. I was diagnosed 30 months back with stage 4 and Gleason 8 with both lymph node and skeletal metastasis. Under went chemo and now with lupron injection once in 3 months along with bicultamide daily. Started worrying. As I know this group is very helpful in sharing the experience, I am looking forward to get some advise.

With metastatic castration-resistant PC, you should be able to start on Xofigo followed by Zytiga. I think Xofigo pairs well with Provenge.

Hello,

why are you talking about resistance to castration?

Because there is a continual upward trend of the PSA in the last 6 months.

Because your headline says "PSA slowly rising from last 6 months" while you are taking Lupron. That's what castration resistance means.

Thanks mr Tim allen for suggestions. Met my MO and he has advised me to undergo PET Scan which is scheduled on 2nd May. MO feels that psa rise is not very alarming. PSA during sept 2017 was 0.07, Nov 0.08, Feb 0.09 and April 0.22. MO is planning to start Zytiga along with lupron post scan results.
