My husband had his Lupron shot today and he received it in his deltoid (arm).
The last time it was given in his buttock.
Now his arm hurts.
Has anyone received this shot in the arm?
Will ice help?

Ice Should help.
I have had both Lupron and firmagon injections for over 2 years.... always get them in belly fat in lower stomach. Lupron usually doesn't hurt much at all, but firmagon hurts like hell for a few days and requires icing and Advil
I get it in the right cheek. It's going to hurt for a few days no matter where you get it injected. But the arm is probably going to hurt more. Ice and advil should help.
Thank you!
Hate the belly. Always advocate for the buttocks. .....and it hurts my wallet the worst.
Always the tush for me. Arm, hurts thinking about it, but the shot pain will go soon.
I was getting mine in alternating cheeks but my test. was going up, went to 58.
I changed my urologist who gave the shot in my abdomen and it went down fast to 47. I dont know if it matters where you get the shot but the stomach seems to work better for me and not too much pain.
No problem for me.... I let my wife take it...

I the buttock is the best, hot flashes and costipation which I take ground flax seed, 1 tbsp on my oatmeal in the morning and it helped alot.
