I personally would.not hesitate to gain any edge. The vaccine is mass distributed in Sweden and Canada over the counter, so presumably quite safe

This Nature Communications paper last June sets out the rationale.

I’m exactly like you in numbers...912 at Dx...now .79...after 3 weeks of eligard(Lupron) and 2.5 months of bicalutamide...Testosterone down to 1 and a bit. I’m keen to move on from these ADT drugs although they’ve worked well for me...I started with my first oral dose of Dukarol on my way for my first visit to an oncologist. It’s been 5 days and nothing to report...no side effects at all. Of course I’m not on Enza orthe other (xgeva) so that’s your call....run it by your doc.

the findings I read about are blue ribbon..I didn’t hesitate..it’s a well tested safe vaccine and if you don’t have general reactions thereupon I see little to worry about.

That is an amazing admission and a very stern warning to friend and family....I vascilated going to see a doc even after an immune crisis so frightening it somehow alleviated the disease....but it only delayed the inevitable an inimitable...ADT. I had a friend who refused as we did until.... it WAS too late...he chose megavitamins. I took care of him in his later stages..he was greatest athlete, smartest guy and most fearless man I knew...reduced to rubble.....I am so happy you took the steps to deny certain death...I toast your simple and obvious choice and rejoice in the fact we simply came to our senses. Well done...we’llbe just fine.

I was diagnosed advanced prostate cancer 2 years ago I refused treatment because I did not want the castration the cancer got into my spine and I was put on hospice twice last year when the cancer caused my vertebrae to collapse I was in incredible pain and could hardly walk luckily I got off of hospice and had my spine fused and radiated last June I finally accepted the castration after that. if I would of accepted the castration a year earlier and not tried a bunch of holistic treatments I might have saved my spine. I can tolerate having screws and rods in my spine. So I really have to keep taking the lupron, xgeva and xtandi. I am a little nervous about taking Dukoral but will probably take it wish I would have known about it earlier.

what kind of feeling or pain did you have in your spine before you verified that the spine was deteriorating due to cancer? I'm on intermittent ADT break right now and sometimes feel a little pain, twinge on one spot in my spine. Dont know if its from weight lifting or cancer. Til now my cancer hasn't been seen on scans but the PSA gets high when not on ADT. My PSA right now is about 3.0.

I never had a bad back. Did exercise many years, first I noticed after doing the rotary torso machine my back would hurt the next day, using a massage chair started to hurt my spine, then it hurt getting up and down from a chair. Then my hips and thigh bones would hurt. After about 6 months from when the pain started I needed a walker I was in a recliner on pain medication and cathider myself and pour urine into a bucket next to the chair was on hospice twice, after a while the pain was so bad I couldn't hardly walk with a walker. I ended up with a collapsed vertebra. Finally went to the emergency and after scans they sent me for emergency spine fusion. The spine surgeon really saved me. The cancer caused my vertebra to collapse. Not sure how long it will last but I am getting by for now. Taking all the adt treatment now

You didn't know that you had any kind of cancer as all this pain was building I assume?

I did it last week. I have slight intermittent pain in one area. Maybe I'll go back on Lupron this month instead of november

Will be 69 this year. Since I have extensive mets I figure supplements and diet are just a little to little and a little to late. If I was younger I am sure I would have a different outlook. Take Vitamin D but will probably quit after this bottle. Take BroccoMax and will probably get another bottle of that. Started taking fish oil pills once in a while cause I don't eat fish at all. Was taking celecoxib (Celebrex) prescription drug because of possible benefit with xgeva but blood pressure went way high. If you have started Celebrex be careful and watch your BP. Just wanted to warn everyone. I will give it a try later but think it is a no go for me. My advice, which is useless, if you are nervous, don't do it. I would rather die of a heart attack than advanced prostate cancer. But really don't want that heart attack today. Make sure the cure is not worse than the disease. Best of luck to you.
