Psa after adt

Psa level after 6months of orchiectomy nd bicalutamide came to b 0.07 ng/dl..Bone scan showing increased tracer uptake in left ileum nd acetabulum nd both pubis

If there is radiographic progression in spite of low PSA, it may be time for other medicines. Bone alkaline phosphatase may be more informative than PSA for you. Discuss with your oncologist.

If there is progression of metastases with a very low PSA, you could discuss with your oncologist the possibility of checking for chromogranin A and neuron specific enolase, to determine if there is a transformation from adenocarcinoma to neuroendocrine cancer.

There is no progression of bone merasa sis before also it was same and if it had been progressing thn there must b bony pains...As I m painfree

If there is not progression of the metastases you are having an excellent response to the treatment. Your PSA went down from 111 to 0.07 !!!
