Zytiga post docetaxel

I have read that applying zytiga after chemotherapy is less effective than without previous chemotherapy.

Have any of you with gleason 9 received zytiga after chemotherapy? When has time been effective?

We were also told that Zytiga/Xtandi were less effective after chemotherapy but that was after my husband had already had 9 or 10 rounds of docetaxel. He was taken off by MD Anderson physician at that point, and went 3 months before PSA rose again, he started Xtandi and is on month 7 of that. Not sure how helpful that is but that is our experience.

In a small percentage of men, who had been on Zytiga until it failed then did a course of Dosetaxel until it stopped working, then they retested Zytiga and found it was effective again but for a shorter period than the first time ..BAT, an experimental treatment, has also been found to reset Zytiga...
