We all know that each case of cancer has different cancer cells. But then there is some overlap in aggressive small cell cancers.

This article explains my clinical course perfectly. My small cell cancer evolved after 21 years of treating my prostate cancer. It is so far in the pleura of my left lung only. My summary is in my profile.

Currently on a treatment holiday while my bone marrow recovers and my fatigue has gone away.

I shared this with my oncologist who has not seen this before. Not treatment implications but very interesting.

Yes. I had a PSA of 0.1 for 10.5 years after my initial treatment of a Seed Implant and External Beam Radiation. The word “cure” was used by some.

My next drug will be Opalarib based on the genetics of my biopsy.

Of note, MSI-S, low tumor burden indicating poor chance of responding to immunotherapy.

I trained so many years ago that this genetics is like a foreign language to me. I can barely keep up so I ask for all reports from my doc in writing which is no problem since I am in Kaiser and everything is available in the electronic records.
