PSA from 575 to 15 in three months - good progress?

Hi. My father PSA was 575 three months ago at diagnosis. He was diagnosed mPC with multiple bone mets, had pubic bone fractures. He was put on casodex and lupron shots. Now after three months PSA is 15. Is the progress good and the same approach should be continued, or is there any cause of worry? I have read some people had immeasurable PSA after 3 months of this regime. Thanks for the info.

That's a very good response. He should start on docetaxel right away. Read this article about options for men in his situation:

I agree. I did the early Docetaxel in accordance with the STAMPEDE trial. The CHAARTED and STAMPEDE trials both showed a significant gain in overall survival, particularly for those with greater tumor burdens.
