Erleada (Apalutimide)

It has been a few months since anyone posted on Erleada (Apalutimide).. Is anyone on this drug now that it has been approved by the FDA. The trial I am on right now with xtandi and a mystery drug is reaching the end. I just trying to anticipate my next move.

I have been on Erleada about 2 months now and getting my first blood work in next week. Also been on Eligard about 18 months. When PSA started rising MO ordered Erleada. PSA was 4.0 when I started Erleada. Hoping for a undetectable reading. In this battle for 21 years now.

I have been on Erleada about 1 month. I have been on Eligard for 70 months. My PSA was undetectable until June 2018. It was about .13 when I started Erleada.

I am excited about this drug and the related treatment of PCa. My next MO appointment is in April. If my numbers and overall status support using this treatment, I intend to begin using apalutimide. If not placed on it, I plan to find a new MO. Tired of constant pain and fatigue and no answers forthcoming on where I stand.

Maybe I’m expecting too much on this impossible disease.
