That's a very good prognosis for a lasting cure. Congratulations.

Okay... dumb question and may have been answered before... but if this stuff is so good, how come it is not used more in conjunction or instead of ADT? I understand the economics and politics of medicine, but also believe more MOs who genuinely care about the wellbeing of their patients would use something that was so effective. FDA? Not enough evidence?

What am I missing?

Thanks,

JDM

Thanks. I get that. The question was more rhetorical and philosophical than an indictment of the FDA. It just seems that we all have our different "solutions" to help fight this crap and, not picking on 4-MU or Isosilybin in particular, but if there was a supplement or protocol out there that was so good and keeping men alive, it's hard for me to believe an MO would not mention it and let their patients suffer and die just because it was not FDA approved. I get that many MOs don't even know about some of these supplements, but even within the confines and limits of their institutions one would hope they would talk about the stuff that seems to help - whether approved or not. I know I am being idealistic and the world doesn't always work that way, but I believe the majority of doctors do care.

Just wanted to add... I'm glad these supplements are working for you and very much appreciate the advice and suggestions all on this site make. I continue to learn from the collective wisdom and experience and it definitely helps inform my decisions with regard to treatment and lifestyle. All the best.
