This is quite welcoming news to see the PSA drop from 2.8 to <0.1 in three months. I was told by my Oncologist that this is as sensitive a reading as this test can show. I think I have seen folks reporting readings out several decimal points. i know different labs use different testing methods and maybe that explains why some are reported in much smaller fractions. Any thoughts? Thanks for any feed back.

That is excellent bikerjorge! because that is undetectable! They do use different test methods because mine is always <0.1 but one time it was <0.008! And I have been fighting prostate cancer for 13 plus years! Keep up the good work and God Bless!
Read your post.. Wow ! You are fighting PC for 13 years.. Wish you all the BEST.. I'm a bit concerned for my issue, Fighting it for over 3 1/2 years now going through different treatment phases. Currently on Eligard form of Lupron and a clinical trial which includes Zytiga 1000 mg daily plus prednisone , and Placebo of course. Just made the Trial short of cutting it off. My concern is I have gotton worse with Bone mets . They hit my left hip first Quite painful Had to do Radiation treatments to calm the pain. Hit my bone marrow pretty bad. Now it spread to my ribs.. 2 of them.. and multiple places in my spinal column. That is when they luckily got me on the Trial. The Placebo is the real thing.. They have proven that.
Problems now are very low blood counts and Hemoglobin that landed me in the hospital.. Had 2 Blood transfusions.and can not get my blood where it should be. worried.
Im mostly worried about whats next. PSA holding at .246 was at 10 just before trial. so Zytiga did well. Will I get the opportunity to make it more than 5 years with all these issues.
Tough question.. The cancer on my spinal column is severe. large areas. This cancer really does move fast. Dont know how long it will hold.. Actually started with 2 years of Firmagon and Radiation.. Failed after the 18th month. Then went on Eligard for a year and 6 months. it failed. Kept me on eligard along with the Trial. PSA did come down thank God. Been on trial 3 months now. Just trying to search for information on where this goes. I am worried.
Since you have been fighting 13 years I thought it would be good to talk to you.
