The question is ...who is Dr. Bob and what kind of "Dr." is he...one positive is he sells Pacific Yew for $15...way less than competitors price of $35...I am going to order Dr. Bob's product...I have spent $1000's on supplements over 10 years looking for the holy grail that lowers PSA and or increases doubling time...no luck yet...so I might as well blow another $15..the way I figure it I will either die from PCa or the supplements I take trying to control it, which ever comes first.

The first taxane, paclitaxel, was found to be ineffective against prostate cancer. Docetaxel and cabazitaxel have to be infused directly into veins because they cannot be absorbed through the digestive tract. Taxanes are also highly toxic, especially the dried leaves. "Symptoms of yew poisoning include an accelerated heart rate, muscle tremors, convulsions, collapse, difficulty breathing, circulation impairment and eventually cardiac arrest. However, there may be no symptoms, and if poisoning remains undetected death may occur within hours."

the way i figure it there is not enough taxanes to kill you or probably even to work against PCa...either way it sure beats "the morphine drip"

If you mean to imply that you want to use it to commit suicide instead of a morphine, I think ODing on morphine is less painful

I'm a longbow archer and live in the Pacific Northwest - the world's only source of bow quality yew wood. A friend of mine, who is a bowyer, can't make yew bows because he is allergic to yew. Be very careful, this is powerful stuff and can be very dangerous. (I'm not allergic to yew and regularly shoot my yew wood longbow.)

That is why I think it might work..all the PCa drugs are powerful stuff

Maybe good for yew, but I think I'll stick to gnawing on bamboo.

Good Luck and Good Health.
