Hi Blinqie,
Lutetium is one of the options I am considering. I have been told the cancer agency in our area will be doing a couple of Phase One clinical trials of this drug in early 2018. Can I ask how much it cost you to have this treatment done in Germany?
Hi,
How many treatments of lutetium did you receive and what was the cost ? I am considering paying, it is $9600 (aud) per injection over here . There is a triak coming up but no doubt it will be hit and miss if I can get on it.
In Germany is was about 10000 euro per treatment , this included all scans (pmsa etc) and 4 days in the hospital (In germany they keep you min 48 hours in secluded ward. Good luck
Hi
Where in Germany? And how long it was effective.did you have mets?Iam also intetested.
Thanks
Thanks blinque,
Did lutetium had any visible effect on your nodes? And how long you were in remission? How many injections are necessary?
i am in remission now for about 9 month and believe without further treatment this will last a further 2 month. yes it had visable effect on my lympf nodes. i did three injections over 7 month. I did experience fairly severe tiredness from 2-10 weeks after each injections. bearable but not easy for worklife
I had three cycles over 7 month and today after 9 month my psa went down and started to rise again 4 month after the injection. so it worked but not as good as I hoped for. I had good uptake of the lutetium but the result was soso.
