After 30 months on zytiga, psa went to 995. First month on xtandi went to 55. Have had Provenge six months ago.

Very good to hear, Drcrunch! Hope you will keep seeing that PSA getting lower, and will be able to ride the Xtandi train for a good long while. (I started Xtandi recently, too. My PSA went from 95 down to 1.9 in 7 months, so far.)

Great news! Nothing better than to hear positive results on my next line of defense. Just finishing Provenge treatment on the 24th and will start Xtandi within the next 3 weeks upon approval of a drug assistance program. I'm praying it is a GO.

How are you symptoms?

Awesome! I had a similar result - good control on zytiga for 18 months, then started Xtandi after a PSA and LN relapse. PSA went to undetectable within three months, and did Provenge. Have been stable for almost three years. No hard evidence but I attribute the combo of immunotherapy combined with OSA control with Xtandi as a good solution for some.

Paul, I was just going to message you about the result, since similar protocol. Thanks

Seems to me that xtnndi is the least invasive and most effective. I recall at one of the pcref when dr moyad asked the docs what was their drug of choice their reespose was extandi.

The problem lies in the mandatory use of prednisone. Not only is it toxic, but eventually probably is used as fuel in place of testosterone. Xtandi was financed by the U.S. Army in development, probably because of Agent Orange prostate cancer which is high among Officers who served in Vietnam. That's me.!
