Has anyone heard of substituting Inspra for Prednisone while on Zytiga?

Inspra (eplerenone) was studied in the UK along with Zytiga and Prednisolone. This publication in 2012 implies that Inspra might increase Androgen Receptor (AR) mutations, and add to the risk of at least some resistance disease?

In an earlier Phase 2 Trial for Zytiga Inspra was used to manage an accumulation of mineralocorticoids, in patients experiencing hypertension, hypokalemia, and fluid retention.

However, in a later Phase 3 Trial a switch was made to Prednisone, and Prednisone remained part of the official U.S. FDA Approvals for Zytiga, thereafter.

When I started to take Zytiga I didn't want to take it with prednisone so my doc allowed me to try and take inspra instead. After about a month I had to switch to prednisone due to the side effects.

Some oncologists, including Charles (Snuffy) Myers and Stephen Strum, prefer using dexamethasone instead of prednisone.
