Post Ablation Hypertension
My BP has continued to climb and has been unresponsive to Bystolic 30 mg, Cozaar (losartan) 50 mg, and
Inspra
(eplerenone) 25 mg. My HR is still 55, but my BP is now 160-170+/56-65, with symptoms of fatigue, mild headache, and mild lower leg edema.

taking Inspra/Eplerenone with Sando-K (as blood tests show potassium level low) and Bumetanide
My understanding of being prescribed Eplerenone is that it is a potassium sparing diuretic (stops any potassium being expelled from the body) to be taken alongside the Bumetanide which is a diuretic that expels all excess fluid. I was previously prescribed Spironolactone -another slightly stronger potassium

Substitute Eplerenone for Prednisone with Zytiga?
I would like to stop the prednisone and substitute eplerenone (
Inspra
), if that is viable. I found this exchange from earlier this year from Gearhead, with comments from Tango65 and T_A, among others. Has anyone stopped prednisone altogether in lieu of eplerenone?

I’m new here, but wanted to share a positive message and touch on post heart attack mental health
I’m 58 and suffered a heart attack (STEMI), on a plane followed by cardiogenic shock in April 2022. I have 5 stents fitted to two arteries supplying my heart. I went into cardiogenic shock shortly after the first 4 stents were inserted during the heart attack. I was taken into intensive care and had

Abiraterone, prednisone, eplerenone, and blood pressure
Now my PCP suggests reducing prednisone back to 5 mg/day and adding eplerenone (
Inspra
). One relevant study I could find (below) doesn’t indicate much BP benefit but suggests that abiraterone is more effective with prednisone than eplerenone for progression-free survival.

Hello, newbie here
Hi, it's been almost 4 years since my diagnosis of Heart Failure, I'm on Entresto,
Inspra
, Carvedilol, and Atorvastatin. I'm a delivery driver, and do around 15-20K steps a day, so I get plenty of excersize !!

Losartan and Inspra together
I felt so tired that I reduced the dose to 75mg but still felt generally unwell so am now back on 50 mg of both Losartan and
Inspra
. Has anyone else experienced this overwhelming feeling of tiredness with a really dull head and of course little or no energy?

Eplerenone Inspra
Hi all I have been taking Entresto high dose 97/103 for low EF and LBBB for 3 months now and have been advised to take the Eplerenone as well as it is supposed to help the heart muscle. A lot of the comments online seem to be negative. Does anyone else have experiences of this drug and does it help

has anybody taken Inspra (eplerenone)25mg
This medicine has been prescribed by our nephrologist for my husband. After taking it for few months, his S.Creatinine has gone up to 171 from 152, his potassiume level has gone up to 4.7 but his microalbuminuria has come down. His eGFR has also gone down to 36 now from 41. We are confused. Do not
