I don't like politics on this board, except where it might impact people here.

Seems to be more directed at recreational use. Lets hope so😒

It IS directed at recreational use, although you'd like it to be more clear that they aren't going to consider whether some medical uses are not sufficiently serious. As to people here, it seems pretty clear that use by advanced prostate cancer patients that complies with state medical marijuana laws will not be questioned. But having had a U.S. Attorney go after my dispensary & its landlord in Oakland, CA for years (the City of Oakland fought on the medical marijana side of the battle), it's possible particular dispensaries could end up as targets.

For anyone interested in the broader issue--for instance, marijuana as a positive force in the opioid crisis, or the will of the people versus the absurd federal Schedule 1 placement of the good herb--this whole story is worth reading. It's good to hear that 71% of American adults support state medical & recreational marijuana laws. It's good to hear how strongly the states intend to fight the feds, if necessary.

I am on Chemo right now and was just thinking how glad I was to have a little CBD cannabis

just a little bit of cbd, low %of thc helps me feel better, don't need the strong stuff.

And that crazy federal classification as a Schedule 1 drug--meaning it has no known medical use--is something that the overwhelming majority of Americans know to be false.
