Does anyone have good tips for going to bed at a reasonable hour?

Wondering what tips yall have. I'm tired of revenge scrolling and getting distracted by anything other than my bed. What helps you get to sleep on time?

I thought I was the only one like that! I seem to go down many rabbit holes and I start looking at my phone or watching a film and next thing I know, it's 6 in the morning! I still live with my ex (we broke up in June 2024!) and share the same bed, so sometimes I think I might subconsciously be avoiding her and waiting for her to get up and go to work, like I did today. My advice is aim for a specific time and try not to fall asleep before then and keep busy until that time. We have rabbits, so I motivate myself to feed them and give them clean water each evening. The earlier I can do that, the better, because then when I notice myself getting distracted, I am able to switch off my phone and just get ready for bed.

I need to heed my own advice on this one as well!

turning off tech screens an hour before bed, reading or something else that’s relaxing. Some people say not to do anything but sleep in your bed so that when you go to bed your body is ready. I still prefer to read and listen to ambient music.
