Are you constantly on an emotional roller coaster and can’t get off? Are you angry all the time and want to be happy?
If so, try Emotional intelligence: A Practical Guide for Personal Growth & Building Stronger Connections by: Amy Harper
I'm currently working through the book and am learning a lot about myself and my emotions. I used to be angry all the time and would beat myself up over the smallest mistake, but am learning how to treat myself better, and that being happy is better for my mental health.
It's taken a couple of years of therapy, and reading lots of books, but it's slowly getting better- and this is what I would hope for you.

I just saw a webinar by Stephanie Pinto, and she was fantastic talking about emotional intelligence. She seems to focus on parenting neurodivergent kids, but her discussion on this topic was fantastic. Her website: stephaniepinto.com/
She also has a podcast, which is focused on parenting, too.
