Over the last 23 weeks, I've taken a few minutes of my day, and recorded various resources helpful to me and my dealing with my ADHD. While I hope they've been helpful to others, I must admit I've done them as much for myself- to show the progress that's taken place within me since my diagnosis. I appreciate all of the comments back to me, and have learned a ton from you all; so, this week-since I only post on Tuesdays- I'd like to pause that line of thinking, and do something a tad different.
Today, I'd like to offer a word of encouragement to all of us who are still struggling with our ADHD, or a diagnosis. It's unfortunately not a “one size fits all”, so everyone needs to find what works for them, and that could be very different for every one of us. This process sucks! We all can relate! I've done numerous hours of research on ADHD and modifications, and have learned one thing- if you put 10 people with ADHD in a room and ask them to draw a giraffe while whistling, they'll be 10 different ways of doing that task.
Please don't get discouraged, angry, or down on yourself. Please reach out to a trusted friend, your therapist, or even your clergy staff to get help. There's plenty of folks who want to see you successful, myself included, and we’ll help any way we can..
Have a great rest of the week!!!!
