So I joined CHADD today, thinking I’d find some online zoom type groups. But then it directed me over here and maybe I’m missing something but I didn’t see zoom type groups on either CHADD nor here… but I could be overlooking it due to being be-bopped all over the place here in my search. Halp! lol

Not sure where you are, but David runs a nice group 2x/month on Zoom: Check out Oakland/Berkeley Adult ADHD CHADD Group on Meetup meetu.ps/c/sdsg/KgB6x/a
thank you, following because I am wondering the same thing!
I recall seeing some support groups on the site, but you have to be a paid member to participate 🙄.
Hi mosaicamama,
Thank you for contacting CHADD National Resource Center on ADHD. I am not sure where you are located, but you can select your state from this link chadd.org/affiliate-locator/ if you are unable to find one you can join another in another state if you like. This one is located in California if interested, chaddofsfv.org/
If you have further questions, please let us know. We are here to help!

check meetup.com not only for your area, but you may be able to find a support group that meets at a more convenient time for you.
I'm in 3 groups of Facebook, but only one of them (Men's ADHD Support Group) has weekly video calls. (I haven't been able to join the calls, because they are always on the weekend, which is my time with my kids.)
I am part of two ADHD communities here, and two in Discord. (One of them on Discord has the an option to meet with people, but as far as I know it doesn't get used much.)
I did recently learn about a free service for meeting online called Focus 101, started by someone with ADHD. It was promoted as a good video service for body doubling.
But there are other free video meeting options...it's just hard to find a free group to connect to that does video meetings.
My recommendation is to check for Meetups and Facebook groups.

I was investigating the option of starting a CHADD affiliate group. I wanted it to be an extension of the CHADD groups on this site, but their model is that CHADD affiliate groups have to be for a certain geographic area....oh, and you need a yearly membership to host a CHADD affiliate group.
• I was told that I could allow people who are not in my geographic area to join the affiliate group, as long as I'm the host.
• I can't afford the $75 membership until sometime in the New Year.
I'm still looking into free or low cost video meeting options. Most have significant restrictions for time or number of attendees, unless you have a monthly or annual subscription.
thanks for that info! I’ll poke around in some other avenues. Very much appreciated
