I have been telling people about this for the past few months. Some do not believe it will happen. All we can do is inform.

With many refusing to believe that ADHD is a real disabling condition, they see us as junkies abusing medications and slackers refusing to work hard. This retrenchment of telehealth support for ADHD afflicted people is fueled by these myths.

See a rise in prescriptions - must be abuse and diversion. Can't be that the well known impediments to getting diagnosed and treated were partly relieved, letting more get rightfully diagnosed.

More adults with ADHD prescriptions - be a fad and incorrect diagnoses by pill pushing telemedicine operators, can't be actually reaching people who have demonstrably been impaired all their lives and now getting the treatment they deserve.

Chop off the supply of ingredients and cause a shortage causing suffering among us. Loom over medical practitioners who have many ADHD patients, hinting they are supporting abuse. The lack of belief in the reality of ADHD as a condition affecting victims, believing it an excuse by people to abuse drugs, is the engine driving this change in regulations.

Life is hard enough already, without shortages and imposed difficulties getting treatment.
