Good day,
My doctor recently prescribes me conserta. But when I go to the pharmacy they gave me neucon. I attached the photo.
Can someone confirm if this is neucon? I'm asking because I don't feel any change when I take it.
Thank you.

Hi,
That is NOT Neucon, and given that you're local to me I would certainly question your pharmacy. Neucon is a concerta generic and suitable replacement. Neucon has the same OROS delivery system as concerta has which is why the tablets will look similar. At best this is Contramil (another generic) but the way it is dispensed is irregular.
First off no pharmacist "breaks" seals on stimulants, when I buy my Neucon they still make a point of showing me that the seal is unbroken. These meds are highly regulated.
Attaching pic of what Neucon should look like -
BTW, the pharmacy numbers give away local That's Lenasia, I'm CT based.
I agree this is Not the way prescriptions are administered. Does the tablet have any marking?
If you'd like to chat about ways forward let me know - I am an ADHD Coach and I'm uncomfortable about whats happening with these meds. Depending on background it may also be worth lodging a query with SAPC (South African Pharmacy Council).
Spidey sense makes me concerned that dispensing unknown meds against a legitimate script means that the actual Neucon is going to another market.
