Hey Everyone,

I thought you may be interested. DEA proposed new rules limiting schedule II controlled substances and telemedicine. This requires and in-person visit after the COVID Health Epidemic ends. If you would like to have your comment heard, please comments at the below link

Actually these rules are not new. They have been in place for many years. When the Public Health Emergency was declared. The rules were temporarily suspended. The DEA has always said the change would last only a long as the PHE. But it seems that many in the general public thought the change was permanent. Which it never was

Definitely think it's fair that the DEA reviews this archaic feeling law though and not just hide behind the reasoning of saying "it was always temporary" when that is literally what rules and agencies who make them are intended to continually review.

It is misleading. They have no intention of allowing for the prescribing of stimulants without a face to face visit after the PHE ends. That is clear based on other laws, policies and statements.
