What was I prescribed?

I found a pharmacy that has brand Ritalin in stock. But not 20mg which is what I have been taking. They said they have brand 10 mg tablets. Does anyone know if a pale green 10mg tablet with CIBA on one side and 3 on the other is generic or brand? Also what does methylphenidate hydrochloride mean

A brand name usually appears in cap letters above the generic name (methylphenidate). You can find brand names (about a dozen) here at this link .... drugs.com/medical-answers/b...

Have no idea the difference between methylphenidate vs methylphenidate hydrochloride. Officially, they are the same med with the same active ingredient. Your pharmacist could tell you the difference.
