Life is extremely hard under ADHD

Sometimes I have to walk back and forth in my room all the day to make me comfortable . Sometimes I get extremely anxious so that I have to stay in bed all day . I always find it extremely hard to stay still in chair to do reading or serious stuff .

But I am a good walker , I can walk 6 hours happily without relaxing . But my feet sometimes get hurt due to this .

I become extremely anxious when others become antagonistic to me . I am also extremely anxious about future that when I think about my future risks I can not even sleep .

It sounds as if you are struggling with considerable anxiety and maybe depression, and could benefit from this being treated not just the ADHD. Best wishes, JM

I understand completely . I have just been diagnosed but have not been medicated yet. I am on an antidepressant that I have been on for years. I am so overwhelmed with anxiety that I feel that I am just hanging on hoping I'll feel better tomorrow.

too relatable. I have tp start my day with a very long walk to give my add and anxiety a channel to put that energy into. I find depression may make me eventually sleep the day away if I am ruminating or too stuck in anxiety. I am learning that my body is a tool which can work for me and I believe getting my blood pumping is very important to calming my nervous system down and getting it ready to pay attention (vs being hypervigilant). Its all an experiment and its hard to know if progress is being made or not. What I do know is I make better decisions when I'm calm and can plan. Everything else feels like nerves that need to be exercised.
