Hey everyone! Just wanted to hop in here and introduce myself a bit. You can call me Shadow, I'm 31 this year, married with a couple kids. I was diagnosed with adhd way back in the early 90's not exactly sure when but I wanna say I was around 5 years old or so when I remember doing the tests. I don't remember much about the really early years of my battle with ADHD, but I do remember a few of the treatments I've tried and how they worked. If anyone has any questions feel free to ask!

Welcome Shadowfang. This is a great forum. I wasn’t diagnosed until 52 and it’s taken years of trial and error to find the right med combo. But it’s worth it. In addition, I got a therapist in January. Game changer. He helps me see things in a different perspective and also helps me take time for myself. It’s difficult for me, much easier to deflect than talk about yourself. I’ve accepted that this is a life long thing for me, so when I find something that works, I stick to it. Best of luck.
