Hi,

So previously ii posted about 20 mg of vyvanse not really helping. Started an increased dose of vyvanse 3omg, and I feel sedated. It nice to feel calm, but I dint want to feel zombies out , but no energy at all , just want to sit on the couch again. I also feel so teary. I’m not sure what to expect but this isn’t helpful. My doctor was quite against adderall but m not liking the side effects of the extended release . Frustrated

That is very frustrating. It took me a long time to get on the right medication. For me Vyvanse is doing the opposite. It helps me get motivated and going.

How many days have you been on the new dose? Sometimes it takes a few days for some of the negative side effects to wear off. I would definitely share that with your doctor the next time you are in.

It’s the first day at new dose. On the lower dose I did have that initial nervous energy feel, but now nothing.

This doesn't sound like what you should be feeling to me. My doctor explained ADHD commonly has co-morbidities like anxiety and/or depression that, if left untreated, may result in you not benefiting the same way that you should be from the stimulant.

Of course, I'm unaware of your past and current health treatments, but for me, this was a very important piece of information that I initially overlooked. I'm glad to now be taking 40mg of Vyvanse and it feels super effective for treating my ADHD.
