How to ask about adding a booster with your vyvanse?

I am prescribed 70 mg of vyvanse daily. I have has the reacuring problem that it doesnt last more than 5 or 6 hours. Is any prescribed 10 mg adderall with their vyvanse and how did you go about asking your doctor?

Honestly, I think you should just be honest with your doctor and tell them what's going on. 70mg Vyvanse isn't that high of an amount. I saw someone post here they take 2 of those a day. I am not sure if it was 2-60'smg or 2-70mgs. If you have been going to your doctor for a long time I highly doubt they will think you are "drug seeking" if you have a good history with them. Don't mention the mg's you want just ask for a "booster" and I'm sure they will know what you are talking about. I also read online that people get prescribed a "booster" like Adderal along with Vyvanse. So basically, just be honest with them and you should be ok.

I finally got the courage to ask and he added 20 mg of zenzedi to my regimen. Today was the first time taking zenzedi and its just like adderall but I feel like this is just what I needed. I would take 2 of my vyvanse some times which worked but left me with no med days.

Most ADD people have more than one disorder. It's called comorbidity. I have a depression disorder that I inherited from my daddy. I take Zoloft.

They would understand, as YAHWM said, be honest with them by telling them how Vyvanse is working and when it is wearing off. I'm on Vyvanse 70 and Zenzedi 20 mg.

How’s vysanse going any problems I take dex in afternoon getting really tied if afternoon at work , but was great , now last 4 days feels like my chest is going to explode like aniexty but worst I’ve had it , it’s like all the sudden It’s gone from everything great focused motivated social happy to depressed tied sleeping a lot , not sure what I have done wrong but can’t get in contact doctor as he’s not calling me back in last 3 days
