Sex and ADHD?

Does ADHD complicate having sex or is that just ED? I feel the thought process of having sex is hendered because with ADHD your thoughts are all over the place and its hard to concentrate. Taking ED medication helps, but you have to take the ADHD medicine to help you concentrate totally on your sexual activity, but it is a must to have a willing person that is just excited as you are. If you are not aroused its a hopeless case! So get with your doctor ( for medication) and partner for support and make it work. You can do it and have the best sex of your life!

My ADHD and depression were so bad that I couldn't even masturbate because I was thinking about grocery lists and all sorts of garbage that are not helpful in those situations.

So yes, ADHD can affect sex. Focus/ Attention is important. You have to be present.

I think it's different for everyone. I just started taking Vyvance about 5 months ago, and haven't noticed a difference. But I used to be on depression medication and that completely diminished my sex drive.
