Single Dad lost his child because he's self medicating the disease in order to properly function and be a stable parent. We are devastated and don't know what to do. We need help getting child back. Can anyone help?

Adhd is not a disease, it’s a condition.

RaychCarlos, I’m so sorry to hear about your troubles. ADHD or neurodivergency can be a curse and a blessing. It’s not just knowing enough about it’s meaning, but how to live and manage it properly too. Try reaching out to the following organizations below for assistance and proper treatment (the right medication can life saving)…God bless! 🙏

What do you mean by self-medicating? What an awful situation for you and your child, try to stay hopeful it can be changed. I don't know of specific legal help but to start, let us know which country you're in. If US, could try contacting the Bar Association for ideas and get formally disgnosed with ADHD if not already to affirm need for medication in court's eyes. Perhaps share more details so folks on this forum can help you strategize next steps.
