Good Day everyone! I just turned 51 with a ADHD Attention Deficit diagnosis. Somehow I made it through school with a BS, but have not had much career development in the almost 17 years I have been in my current place of employment. I have all the classic traits, forgetful, shot memory, moments of taking off into space, moments where it seems as though I am not listening, moments where I am fidget poster child, loses everything, and low level organizing skills. I am in the need of a service agency that will not only diagnose ADHD but offer services that will help me get to the next level with my career and self-confidence.

Wow! This sounds like me as well!! I am also looking for resources so if i find something, i will let you know. I am in CA, where are you?
I'm in Chicago. I really appreciate this! I will let you know if I find anything on my end. While playing around on the website yesterday, I located this YouTube Channel Help for ADHD. I am going to look at one the clips today. I hope this helps! Have a day of Clarity!!!!
Well ... what did you all find out? Any services?
What is the name of the YOUTUBE channel?
My experience exactly. Dx'd at age 45. Now 63. I am not the one to give you advice as I have not made a success of myself. Just want you to know you are not alone.
One thing I will say, pointing out the obvious, is that behaving in such an addle-brained way is not going to inspire anyone to offer you a promotion. What I did was to make deliberate decisions about how I wanted to do things so that in the end, I feel like, wherever I am, at least it was my choice to be there.
