Covid vaccines and ADHD in England

So I am a little angry but underneath my anger is usually hurt or sadness.

Why are all those with learning disabilities, neurological conditions and autism now eligible for vaccines but those with ADHD are not included in this?

I am happy that others are receiving their vaccines now but I am upset that ADHD is not included. I understand it differs from those conditions but it still poses many high risks.

I needed to share my frustration and also what are people’s views on this? Am I over reacting?

Thank you for reading. X

Nah, you're not overreacting: we're “orphans”, with a difficulty those who don't experience it can dismiss as “imaginary” or “a discipline problem” at the same time they're annoyed enough by our differences from them to draw more focused to controlling our effect on others than to easing our own suffering.

They can also, “Call us, ‘Legion,’ for we are many.” Not unlike those who suffer clinical depression—except we're more likely to kill ourselves (or others, for that matter) accidentally than deliberately.

Therefore, we're both “too expensive” and “not worth the trouble”. 🤬
