Are you a woman 21 years of age or older diagnosed with ADD or ADHD, residing in the United States who speaks English as a first language?

If so, I would love to talk with you!

I am doing a research project for my master’s thesis in the Clinical Psychology doctoral program at Bowling Green State University focused on the experiences of women diagnosed with ADD/ADHD. Participant information will be kept confidential. General study findings will be shared with interested participants, and you will receive a $15 Amazon gift certificate in gratitude for your participation.

The study will involve an online interview of approximately 90 minutes in which you will have the opportunity to share your background and your thoughts about your experiences as a woman with ADHD and any messages you would like to convey to researchers and others about coping with ADHD. Your confidentiality will be respected and your participation appreciated.

If interested in participating, please contact Melissa Rudd at mrudd@bgsu.edu. I look forward to hearing from you!

Would this be open to Women in Canada as well? Or is it exclusive to the USA?

Current criteria are for US participants only, but this may be expanded to include Canada in the future depending on number of interested participants. If you or anyone you know is interested, I would be happy to remain in touch and inform you if/when the geographical criteria are expanded. Thank you for your message!

I am interested in participating in your study but my days are busy so 90 minutes is a long time. Could it be broken into 2 sessions if need be?

Hi, thank you for responding and that is a great question. I need to check in with my advisor and will get back to you. If it would be possible, would you be willing to email me at mrudd@bgsu.edu? Then we can discuss your specific circumstances in more detail and whether any modification would be possible.
