I got some information from another member here earlier last week. We we're given 2 groups and one was for ADHD members. healthunlocked.com/api/redi... I hope this is a fit for you!

I have been doing virtual meetings if your interested. We’re a pretty diverse group. So chances of having someone with similar struggles to talk with is pretty likely

ADDA has Zoom meeting throughout the week for various types of ADHD groups. It’s a $5/mo subscription (I forgot the yearly rate). They also have webinars - live & archives, as well as articles & a blog. Similar to CHADD & I find both have been beneficial as resources & support. I just got diagnosed a month ago, and want to learn as much as I can. I’ve been lucky to find a good amount of resources. Good luck! 😊

Katrina that is a very interesting point you made. How many people were in your Zoom group. I was invited to a Zoom Passover seder to celebrate with relatives and friends. For me I was so hyperfoucused in seeing my relatives and meeting new people that I felt comfortable. Do you feel comfortable using the ADHD power of hyperfocusing Mind you I was in a group of 10. If I was exposed to a large group, I do not know what my reaction would be. I was preparing for a second interview for a position using the visual Webex. I did some mock interviews over the phone and then a friend of mine set up a mock Webex meeting for us. Whether I get the job or not, I felt much for comfortable on my interview.

Good luck. These kinds of things can be challenging. Besides being Bipolar and having ADHD, I stuttered as a kid which brought on its own problems for me. though my speech has greatly improved, I also need to be careful, when I'm communicating with a group of new people.
