What’s your WIN?

Celebrate your wins with me!

There is always so much negativity surrounding ADHD among those who have it, and those who don’t, that I want to encourage you to take a minute and think about your win.

What’s something you did today that you’re proud of? Did you get up on time? Remember to make that appointment that you’ve put off? Did you take the time to do something nice for your spouse or kids? Did you finally catch up on dishes? (Haha)

What’s your WIN?

My win today is that, because I thought ahead and cooked up a bunch of chicken at the beginning of the week, lunches and dinners have been a breeze! I also had a friend over and was able to serve lunch without being stressed out. (Which is huge for me because I usually get super anxious about having people in my home- let alone trying to serve them a meal!)

❤️

my win today is using my calendar and studying for my personal trainer exam. I have been putting it off for a while. I find that these are pretty big wins for me. I love that you made this post. Far to often I'm focusing on what I did wrong. Rarely do I celebrate little victories. Thank you.

That’s awesome! I know first hand how hard it is to achieve goals when you have ADHD, so way to go!!

I just recently finished an art job and got my check in the mail yesterday. THAT felt good!

I love this!! My win today, is that I filled out an application form for a scholarship the day I got it (today), instead of waiting till this September to mail it off. This is actually a huge win for me because I am incredibly notorious for doing absolutely everything last minute- from school work, to putting away laundry :) Thank you for this post, Im so used to the negative self-talk in my mind, this was quite refreshing <3

I am so happy to hear that!!

I’m also guilty of doing everything last-minute 🤣

Good luck with your scholarship! What are you going to school for?

Thank you! I'm a violin performance major lol - takes intense time management so I'm a bit worried going into my 2nd year hahaha

Wow! That sounds so fun (and difficult!)

I played piano for most of my childhood, but haven’t played anything in a long time. I’ve missed making music so much though that I’ve started playing around on my husband’s bass guitar and I’m LOVING it! I’m planning to buy my own soon!

And yeah, good luck with the time management- that is SO hard for me.
