Concerta and weight loss

Hi. I am about to start Concerta. I’m 19 and have adhd. I’ve never been on medication before. One thing I am worried about it weight loss. I mean it’s not going to kill me to lose a few, but I was just wondering how quickly people lost weight and how much? I just want to know what to expect. And what other side effects should I expect ? I’m really nervous.

Thank you !

Hello! When I first started Concerta my appetite was definitely effected but I made sure to eat regardless. I lost a total of 10lbs but after two months my appetite was back to normal. Good luck on your journey ❤️
