I've read some authors describe how when on a deadline put their mobile phone and modem in a K-Safe — it's a kitchen safe thing with a digital timer lock.
Something like that might help you set aside a specific chunk of writing-only time each day?
Also, if you have iphone, the new screentime is good if you don't choose to "ignore" the limit each time. I'm currently unemployed and thinking that if I don't check email or texts every 5 minutes, I'm going to miss an opportunity - I do tend to be a little obsessive when I feel down on myself. I've now limited myself to two hours a day with email and other - I think that is plenty to see if I'm receiving any interview requests/etc.
