What’s been the biggest improvement or benefit you’ve seen or your biggest achievement since being diagnosed and treated for ADHD?

I was diagnosed a few months ago and I think the biggest positive change for me is the way I feel about myself. Through reading and taking about it I’m accepting that I have adhd, realising this comes with pros and cons and I need to build on my strengths and learn to manage the areas I struggle with. Whereas before I always used to just feel a little bit ashamed and inadequate because I didn’t know what was ‘wrong’ with me and tried to deny to myself and hide from others what I struggle with.

So my attitude shift has probably been my biggest change so far, hopefully there’s more to come. Would love to hear about what other people’s positive changes have been so far in relation to adhd?

My whole life has changed for the better! Knowing that ADHD is a lack of interest and unique braining wiring, I have learned how to use my brain and its wiring for my success of medication and strategies over the past year. I know longer shame myself and finally feel complete and have finally found my purpose in life by sharing my story and struggles as an ADHD Coach for females. I don't want another female to go through the hell I had to go through in my life. There are so many positive changes for me as I learned my strengths and how to apply them to whatever comes my way. I also learned what my learning modality was and how I process my thoughts so that I would not be as impulsive and make a bad decision. Hope you are experiencing many more as well. God Bless :)
