Has anyone heard of the mirror affect?

It's a TRULY empowering tool that requires gazing at yourself in a mirror(any mirror should do), then look yourself in the eye(s) or mouth, and say "i love you, -insert your name-". If that seems like too much, try "i will LEARN to love you, -insert your name-".

I do have to say, it was very awkward at first, but after the first day, I'd smile really big each time I said those very words to myself. It's led me on this journey to being the best kind of ME that I know I can be, as it's also improved my confidence, my love for others, and my overall well-being.

HealthUnlocked has been a huge help for me when searching different topics that would bring me here, for advice and relatable stories from my fellow ADHDers.

Anyways, here are a couple videos that may help you see what it's really about. I'd suggest watching the first video 1st, then follow with the 2nd. Watching the Robert Holden guy felt weird the first time, but that's just because it was all too new to me. Enjoy and let me know what you think! ☺️
