I'd like a do-over today

Rough day :(

It's been a storm of sadness and frustration and family problems from across the miles, and then, on top of it all, I accidentally killed the most beautiful little snake in my garden because I moved a heavy pot that I didn't see him under when I rotated it; he didn't even die, he was just crippled in half and moved away. It was soul crushing. I want to stop time and redo the whole day because it's been a fucking disaster and I'm so sad.

I can completely understand why making a mistake and hurting the snake was devastating. It's like nothing else is going right, which makes my focus even worse than usual because I'm pre-occupied with whatever is upsetting me and then I do something like lose my keys, back my car into a concrete post - or kill a snake - because I'm not totally focused and it has consequences that I can't control and I feel just awful. On those days, I declare the day officially "OVER" go to bed and vow to start over tomorrow.

We all have rough days. Some more than others.

I hit reply before I meant to. I know I've had plenty of them. It stinks, and unfortunately there's no such thing as do overs. The best we can do is go to bed, wake up, and try again.

Today is going to be a great day! I hope you can enjoy some sunshine, go for a walk and sip some coffee and stare at nature. If that’s your thing, if not then do what would make it a great day for you. ✌️

ugh I hate days like that where it feels like the universe is conspiring to make everything worse one unavoidable accident at a time :(

I hope today is better and you get to focus on something great that makes all the Bad disappear for a while

Thank you everyone :)
