Expanding my community

Hi all. I was diagnosed with ADHD about 20 years ago and looking to expand my community, so decided to come here. Greetings. I've had mixed success with drug treatment, but trying mindfulness and others practices that help work with my brain wiring, not simply seeing myself as having something wrong.

Hi! Nice to meet you. I have also had mixed success. The only things that really seem to have worked for me are meditation retreats (Vipassana - taught by S.N. Goenka) and a raw diet (probably unsustainable; currently don't follow).

I'm always looking for information on rewiring. If you want some reading material that might energize you in this endeavor, I recommend Norman Doidge's The Brain that Changes Itself. Amazing book.

Thanks for the recommendations! Been meditating for almost 30 years, but admit it took awhile to get doing it regularly. That's closer to 20.
