I was diagnosed with ADHD at a young age and health insurance stoped at age 18 and I'm tired of dealing with it and need back on something what do I do?

Hi Matthew, You mentioned you don't have health insurance. Can you check out the healthcaremarketplace.gov, to buy whatever kind of plan you can afford? I honestly don't know what's happening with Obamacare, but it's worth a try. ADHD medication is expensive and so is seeing a psychiatrist. Some drug companies offer "prescription assistance plans" for people with lower incomes.

Some mental health agencies will not deny you services, but you will have to sign something stating you will pay. I'm thinking of Terros Health. Google them and see if they are in your community. Just remember, this is only temporary. Take one step forward to solve this, and then take another tomorrow, etc. Yes, you need your mental health functioning which leads your physical health. Google "low cost mental health agencies near me".

This is a really tough challenge, and, I think more common with current medical care policies. Our state has a program to minimally cover medicine costs, but have job requirements (low income) to apply for the benefit. Marketplace, currently, seems to have fewer medical insurance options, than two years ago, when coverage was good and affordable with the Healthcare Act. Since ADHD is a disability, I wonder if there is a disability state program that supports medical coverage. I am still looking into that.

Colleges and tech schools offered basic medical coverage a few years ago, with enrollment.
