I'm new to the group and am grateful to have a place to share. I am a mom to a 14 year old boy who has ADHD. He was diagnosed in first grade. My husband, we believe, also has ADHD. He has never been formally diagnosed. We have no other children, so I feel outnumbered quite often. Sometimes the stress puts puts me over the edge, but I have to hold it together as the "odd man out." Can anyone else relate?

Yes! I am a mom to a 7 year old girl (currently finishing 1st grade) and a 4 year old boy. 7 year old has combined type ADHD with sensory processing disorder, and I suspect maybe autism or autistic traits (we have a psychological eval scheduled in a couple weeks). 4 year old so far seems neurotypical.Their dad has ADHD and was diagnosed around 7 as well. He doesn't currently take any medication for it or anything but I am seeing more EF (executive function) struggles with him recently, maybe due to having 2 kids and one of them being high need.
It is quite a bumpy ride I'm on! Happy to talk to you anytime though!
