Really?

I recently read on a post that a wife needs to get her "s***" together. Time out and have some bedside manner for the husbands! And can I get a good clapping in here for all the men and women facing hardships? I am a mother. I have severe BPD and several other disorders. Getting our "sh**" together is harder than you think. You don't become a single parent either. People still have spouses. How would it feel knowing an upset was caused because someone's spouse read something that set them off. My teen has ADHD and I really hope this is an understanding community rather than one that spews crap at us parents who are struggling ourselves. I'm told I'm a damn good mum by people I know and they know how screwed up I am. I own it. It's mine. I'm strong. My teen is amazing. Do we struggle together? 100%. He tries everyday and does his best to not take it personally. He's so wonderful. I just want to learn and grow so I can help him grow too. Thank you.

Well said.

I find most people here are understanding and helpful. We all have bad days though and some folks may post "in the moment" without really thinking it through.
