Does anyone here have a teenager with ADHD that will not take their medication and is doing poorly in school? I can't seem to get my son to do homework/take part in his classes (remote learning). He has an IEP but the school seems unable to adapt and does not seem to know what to do with him.

School issues
Welcome to the group. Here you will find a wonderful community who have lots of experiences that can help you.
I am not sure how old your son is or how long he has been taking medication. Also, not sure if the medication seems to help him. When kids don't see an impact they tend to give up.
In addition to medication most children who have ADHD need therapy and an educational plan. These tools help them deal with the issues they struggle with.
School is hard for our kids and distance learning is even harder! So having the educational plan can help with things like extra time, extra support, ETC. It would also be great if he had something outside of school ( sports, arts, photography, music, etc) to help balance life and exercise.
Take care,
