Brain Balance

Hello,

Has anyone ever tried brain balance? I am interested in sending my son to this Clinic but I would like to know the pros and the cons of method before spending the money.

I just Heard of this today as well from my therapist. Going to do some research. If you find out anything please post I will do the same as well.

I am also. curious, but there are none in my area. I am also interested in "right side" brain activities to help with adhd.. their advertisement said children have decreased activity in the right side of their brain. I had not read that before.. I am sure I could do that.

Any thoughts?

We took my then 7 yo daughter. It is very expensive and while there may have been small changes if I could go back I would not have done it. The “homework” alone causes more issues than anything else.

Thanks for this feedback, Can you talk about the "right side of the brain" exercises they did with you daughter?

This makes me sad if organizations are profiting on a group of children..

Funny you posted this today. I had not heard of this but today’s news bulletin from CHADD had a headline stating that the research support behind this is skimpy. Go search Chadd.org for the article.
