ADHD and The Affected Brain

Dr. Russell Barkley is amazing! I heard someone mention him the other day and I watched some of his stuff on YouTube. It is very informative and interesting. It really gave me a better perspective of how my son's brain works and what I can do to help him be successful. I am also going to order his book on Amazon. It's only like $5-$7.....totally worth it. I just wanted to share this little bit of information. I posted the YouTube video below. Just right click and select go. (I don't know how to post a link. LOL)

I hope people find this helpful!

Ha! Apparently it just posts the actual video. I didn't know that. lol

The important thing is that it's there.

Hi, I'm new on this community site. Yes, I checked most of his youtube videos and the one you posted is my favorite. I'm going to bring this up at our IEP meeting coming up in a couple of weeks so all teachers involved really understand what my son is going through. The first 10 minutes is adequate information for teachers.

Could not agree more. He is the best in ADHD. You can find many conferences and videos for free on YouTube featuring Dr. Russell research and findings. Very enlightening!

I may have mentioned this because every year I gave all my son's teachers in grade school a copy of his book on ADHD in the schools. I figured this was a much better gift than the usual stuff!
