Advice needed

My son is 13 & doesn’t respond well w/typical adhd rxs...he’s also very hyperactive/impulsive. Just visited a CBD shop ...interested in know if anyone’s has their child on CBD.? He’s currently on 2 meds(guanfacine & Amantadine). Pls advise.

My son is 12 and we are going through the same issue. My son has tried so many medications and concerta is the only one he does fairly well with. Problem is is controls his hyperactivity and impulse but his grades are NOT improving at all. I Don't know what to do at this point.

Are you looking into CBD oil?

It sounds like you are working with a psychiatrist? For us is was not only about the type of drug is was the amount and when what was taken and this is why a great DR. Is so important.

Now on to grades.. There are so many factors, but is the school providing him intervention services? One of the areas that our son needs the most help is curriculum support (wriitting out the assignments and checking them off, learning to take notes, starting small chucks of a large projects so they are not overwhelming...) The school doesn't provide this.

Where do you think he needs the most help on school?
